We have an amazing opportunity available for a driven and passionate designer to be at the forefront of the brand as Senior Designer for All About Eve.
We are seeking an innovative and passionate Senior Designer. This is your chance to utilise your experience and influence direction through your product lines while instilling your knowledge and guidance to the rest of the team.
As part of the Design team, the Senior Designer plays a pivotal role in contributing to the creative and strategic development of the brand’s product offerings. The purpose of this role is to bring the brand aesthetic to life through innovative and trend-driven designs, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and market demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct a commercially balanced range which offers the right mix of print, plain, and colour and present in CAD form
- Liaise with the Ladies Design Managers as well as Retail and Wholesale teams on product planning
- Analyse and have a comprehensive understanding of category history applying this to the
range - Ability to conceptualise and direct an in-house graphic artist on prints and yardages
- Evaluate range performance by assessing weekly sales reports and attending monthly reviews, taking learnings into future ranges
- Comprehensive knowledge of local and overseas market trends through various mediums
- Analyse relevance of trends for the brand and plan reaction accordingly
- Complete thorough style tech packs, outlining garment specifications for PD team
- Work with Product Developer to ensure best fit, consistency of fit and best possible quality of fabric, trim, make and finish
- Be aware of production progress against critical path, ensuring key dates are met by the team
- Present ranges to sales team at seasonal range release
- Create and work with studio team to execute photo shoot concepts and range book creation
- Potential opportunity to undertake inspiration and vendor trips where necessary.
- Ability to work in a team-driven atmosphere with the ability to flex to personality styles and build strong working relationships internally and externally.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years industry experience
- Excellent in Adobe Creative Suite
- Tertiary qualification in fashion design or relevant
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A creative and collaborative approach to the role
