Role Description
ever by X is an independent Sydney label built on one idea: fewer garments, worn more ways. Our signature design is a dress worn 9 ways, cut in one size to fit XS to XXL.
We are looking for a freelance Social Content Creator to run our organic channels and make the content that fills them.
You will be in front of the camera, not only behind it. Your styling, your voice, your face. This is the rare brand role that lets you keep making your own work, and keep your own clients.
Raw, real and premium. Shot on a phone, styled like a campaign. If your instinct is to reach for a tripod and a colour grade, this is not the role.
Instagram and TikTok are the focus. Pinterest and YouTube are repurpose only. Our strongest organic content becomes our paid advertising, so anything you make may run as an ad, including content you appear in. All content created in this role is owned by ever by X.
Who you are
Sydney-based, with easy access to the Eastern Beaches: Clovelly, Bondi, Coogee. Comfortable and confident on camera. Already making premium, native content, for yourself or for a brand. Able to shoot and edit on a phone and make the result look expensive. You know what is trending, and what is actually performing, right now. Proactive, organised, full of ideas. You have an ABN, your own phone and your own laptop.
The details
Two days a week, ideally fixed, with one day in person. A$50 to $65 per hour. Working directly with our founder, Kerryl. Flexible hours, garment allowance, real creative ownership. Start as soon as you can.
Shortlisted applicants complete a paid one day brief, $400. We send the dress, you send back 3 posts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, edit and schedule Reels, Stories and short-form content for Instagram and TikTok
- Deliver around 20 to 25 unique posts a month, plus daily Stories
- Create GRWM, behind the scenes, try-on and styling, street style and trend-led concepts
- Appear on camera as the face and voice of our organic content
- Keep the content calendar one to two weeks ahead at all times
- Run comments and DMs, and look after the community daily
- Reach out to creators for gifting and build ongoing relationships
- Repurpose the strongest content for Pinterest and YouTube
- Track what is trending and what is actually performing, and bring fresh ideas each week
