Role Description
CLEA is a premium Australian womenswear label based in Melbourne. With an ethos rooted in meticulous attention to detail, we pride ourselves on an approach defined by care and consideration in everything we do.
We are seeking a Production & Development Coordinator to provide structured support across our design development and production functions. This in-office role works closely with senior team members, helping to maintain the systems, documentation, and communication that underpin each collection.
This is a support role with meaningful ownership, suited to someone organised, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced studio environment.
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in a development, production, or studio support role
- Strong Adobe Illustrator skills (essential)
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets capability (essential)
- Experience communicating with overseas factories
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
- Calm, positive, and solutions-focused in your approach
- Eager to learn, adaptable, and confident problem-solving independently
- Able to remain composed in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Physically capable of lifting cartons up to 15kg when required
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in fashion design, textiles, or a similar field
Location and Hours
- This is an in-office role based in our Abbotsford studio.
- The position is available 5 days per week.
- The anticipated start date is late July.
- Remuneration will be competitive and aligned with experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Support seasonal collection development from concept through to bulk production
- Maintain design and production trackers and documentation
- Communicate with overseas factories to track sampling, approvals, and timelines
- Assist with fittings, measurements, sample management, and QC processes
- Support costings, production schedules, and general studio administration
- Experience in wholesale is advantageous but not essential
