Role Description
The Massage Therapist is responsible for and required to have a thorough knowledge of the full variety of massage modalities and treatments offered, offering relaxation massage treatments. Beyond treatments, therapists are expected to uphold a high standard of hygiene, professionalism, communication, and product knowledge.

Our new Surry Hills venue in Sydney is opening in late September, and we’re seeking experience customer service ambassadors to join the team and play a key role in bringing the experience to life.
Please note: Our recruitment process for our new Surry Hills venue team will commence in early September. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an initial phone screening, with those progressing to attend a group recruitment day in mid September. Successful applicants will commence onboarding and training in mid September ahead of our late September opening. To be considered for a role, candidates will need to be available for the following:
Early September: Recruitment commences and shortlisted candidates invited to a phone screening. Successful candidates will attend a group recruitment experience the following week.
Mid September: Successful applicants commence onboarding and training.
Late September: Surry Hills venue opens.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Deliver every treatment with a high standard of guest care from arrival through to departure.
- Create a welcoming, comfortable, and personalised experience for all guests, including recognising and engaging returning guests.
- Ensure all treatments are delivered in strict accordance with approved protocols as per leadership direction.
- Confidently inform guests about facilities, services, and products in person and over the phone.
- Promote and positively represent the brand through professional presentation and guest interactions.
- Maintain current professional accreditations, insurances, memberships and required certifications.
Professional Standards & Venue Operations
- Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment, including adherence to sterilisation and hygiene standards at all times.
- Ensure treatment rooms are turned over swiftly, accurately, and autonomously, maintaining ownership of room presentation and readiness.
- Support consistent and professional operation of the venue across all shifts.
- Maintain order, systems, and organisation to support efficient daily operations.
- Support the wider team across all aspects of venue operations, including cleaning, back-of-house tasks, laundry, and customer service.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work across multiple disciplines as required.

This role requires flexibility in working days and hours/shifts, with an ability and willingness to adhere to reasonable adjustments to working days and times in-line with operating hours of the business.
This role may be required to undertake additional duties from time to time that are reasonable and consistent with the purpose and level of the position.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Certificate IV in Massage therapy or equivalent
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
