Boohoo’s new Christmas campaign has more supermodels than Kendall Jenner’s Instagram

UK retailer Boohoo just released its global Christmas collection and lucky for us, it also includes a drop designed especially for the Australian summer.

Along with the new release comes a new campaign, which features a very, very long lineup of Victoria’s Secret models.

The Australian campaign is fronted by Swedish Angel and former basketballer Elsa Hosk, and YouTuber of the Year nominee Romee Stridj. But the brand has also featured familiar faces like co-founders of the JoJa fitness program, Josephine Skriver and Jasmine Tookes, and curve model slash body image advocate Yvonne Simone.

While the global release includes mini dresses, structured blazers, jumpsuits and co-ords practically dripping in sequins and glitter, our steamy December weather isn’t always conducive to a two-piece suit ensemble. So Boohoo has also designed a holiday range to cater to Australian customers.

The collection includes swimsuits ranging from neon shades to sleek neutrals, complete with crisscross straps and statement tie details.

To throw over your bathers, there’s plenty of off-the-shoulder mini dresses and crop tops with cheeky cutouts, as well as a lightweight take on the power suit decked out in pink, red and green florals. Other heavy influences include big, Renaissance-inspired sleeves and pops of fruity colours.

If you’re heading to any festivals over the summer, you’ll also find pieces designed specifically to stand out in crowds of partygoers — say, an electric blue, Y2K-worthy draped co-ord, or the briefest of bikinis embellished with a chain link belt.
