Whitehouse is opening its doors for one day only

Welcome to Open House.

Thinking about a career change is one thing. Enrolling in a course to get you there is another.

For those who’ve ever dreamed of ditching their nine-to-five in search of a shiny new career in design, Whitehouse Institute of Design’s Open House may be a good start.

Whitehouse is opening the doors to its Sydney and Melbourne campuses for one day next month. Come August 5, you’ll have the chance to explore the Institute’s Bachelor and Master of Design programs.

Whitehouse will be offering tours of each campus, as well as 30-minute workshops, and teacher and student demonstrations. If you’re currently in high school, Whitehouse is also running information sessions for those toying with the idea of undertaking a VET course.

Once you’re on campus, you’ll also have the chance to check out work from the school’s current students. Both campuses will host an exhibit to showcase works from Fashion Design, Interior Design, and Creative Design and Styling students. You can explore the final year students’ Fashion Presentation while rubbing shoulders with key industry tastemakers and fashion industry luminaries who can consult with you on your creative career.

It’s free to head down, though you’ll want to register.
