Yevu finally drops new collection, announces pop-up stores

Mother may I?

Hailing from West Africa comes a new collection by socially responsible brand, Yevu. And in true Yevu fashion, boy does it ooze colour.

Depictive of Ghanaian culture and tradition, the threads are sure to put a smile on your face – even for those of you drenched in black on black wardrobes.

Not only are the wax prints themselves inspiring, but the brand essence of Yevu centres around economically empowering individuals. The label seeks to improve the livelihood of those living on the poverty line, while also connecting Australian buyers with the tradition of West Africa. Yevu teams up with artisinal manufacturers of the region, offering limited edition wax prints and textiles.

Offering simple and contemporary designs for men and women, the new collection by Anna Robertson is not for the faint-hearted. Think ’90s-inspired sensory overload. Think comeback clothing.

Featuring every bold hue and print imaginable, the range includes cute and quirky little dresses for a more feminine look, and also funky jackets and jumpsuits for those more daring.

Ladies, get ready to dabble in minis, shirt dresses, pullovers, cullottes and oversized jumpers. Fellas can soak up summer shorts and shirts, and the always-welcome boilersuit.

These looks will be available online in December after the hugely anticipated Sydney and Melbourne pop-up stores are underway.

Go on, be bold.
