Harris Tapper designs office clothes you actually want to wear

By professional women, for professional women.

Established in 2017, Kiwi label Harris Tapper has built a loyal following through its luxurious tailoring and sophisticated designs.

Made with the modern career woman in mind, Harris Tapper proves that an empowering professional ensemble can consist of more than a basic power suit.

Last month, the label unveiled its first full collection, which draws inspiration from the creative, career-driven women that wear it.

“We want women who wear our clothes to feel powerful, refined and armed to take on whatever challenges come their way,” says co-founder, Lauren Tapper.

The Pre-Fall collection certainly echoes this sentiment, featuring elevated cotton shirting, loose-fitting slacks, tailored wide-leg pants, and wrap-style blazers.

While staple pieces might channel the energy of, say, Big Little Lies’ Renata Klein, Harris Tapper emphasises design for the creative professional.

Protruding shoulders, soft pastel colours, and flowing silk pieces add a feminine touch to masculine silhouettes.

Designed for multi-hyphenate women with fast-paced lives, the trans-seasonal pieces can be dressed up or down depending on where you’re headed.

The collection is available online and through selected stockists.
