Tinder has revolutionised the dating scene as we know it (again).

This time around, the platform has introduced Loops, a two-second video feature that users can implement on their profiles.

Instead of your standard profile picture, users can add a short video which will play in a loop. Think of it as a Boomerang, but for Tinder.

The dating app tested the feature in Japan last month, and reported that on average, users with Loops on their profiles received almost 10 per cent more right swipes.

You can create new videos, or upload existing videos and edit them in-app. All you need to do is hit the ‘add media’ button on your profile page.

Apparently Tinder is also testing the option to add nine photos or Loops to users’ profiles, rather than the standard six.

Of course, the feature is only available to iOS users at this stage, with Android arriving at a later date. Check out a Loop in action below.
