Role Description
East Side Clothing Company is home to two brands Stella and Estelle which are a successful, contemporary Australian women’s fashion brands. We have an amazing opportunity available for a driven and passionate designer to be at the forefront of the brand as Deisinger for Stella.
We are seeking an innovative and passionate Designer with the experience and professional confidence to contribute ideas to our range and follow through to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to trend forecast and market research, mood boards, colour palettes, seasonal inspiration, fabrics and trims that are relevant to our brands
- Create technical CADs, range pages and specification sheets
- Preparation of development briefs for suppliers and brief patternmaking team
- Create import enquiry packs for costings
- Assist in fabric, trim, and material sourcing as required
- Select colours and fabrics, requesting lab dips, swatches and sampling from suppliers
- Indigo 8 data style set up
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Senior Designer
- Update BOMs, colourways, and style information, keeping files clean and current
- Develop placement prints for offshore manufacturing
