Role Description
BELANCĒ is a luxury made-to-measure menswear brand with showrooms in Sydney and Melbourne. As Showroom Manager, you’ll be the face of BELANCĒ in Melbourne — responsible for managing the entire customer journey from first enquiry through to final fitting, and driving the relationships that grow our presence in Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has strong sales skills, a passion for men’s fashion and tailoring, and is looking to make an impact in the menswear space. Alongside your daily duties, you’ll be working closely with our Sydney team to help them manage client orders and customer updates, ensuring all clients receive the best experience at all parts of their journey.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in made-to-measure, tailoring, or luxury menswear is highly regarded
- A natural relationship builder with genuine business development instincts
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats — retail operations, brand/PR, and venue management
- Highly organised and comfortable running a showroom independently
- A passion for men’s fashion and tailoring
- Polished presentation and communication, with strong attention to detail
- Equally capable across client-facing work and back-office admin
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Showroom Management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Melbourne showroom, maintaining a high standard of organisation and presentation at all times
- Take new client appointments and guide them through the entire made-to-measure journey — consultation, fabric and style selection, measuring, fitting and delivery
- Manage client fittings and alterations, ensuring every garment is right before it leaves the showroom
- Deliver an exceptional level of customer service at every touchpoint
Business Development
- Proactively seek new business and partnership opportunities to grow the Melbourne client base
- Build local relationships that bring new clients into the showroom
Order & Production Support
- Place and track customer orders, communicating status clearly to clients to ensure on-time delivery
- Support the Sydney team with back-office functions including production tracking and order management
Brand Development & PR
- Help build BELANCĒ’s brand presence in the Melbourne market
- Support PR initiatives and identify local opportunities to grow brand visibility
Melbourne Loft Management
- Source and onboard brands looking for short-term showroom space
- Manage bookings end-to-end, from bump-in to bump-out
