It’s not that easy being Biebs.

There’s a morbid fascination that comes with celebrities getting sued, and we can’t help feeling just that over Justin Bieber’s new legal case.

TMZ reports the star is being sued over a 2017 incident where he accidentally hit a paparazzo with his car. Photographer William Wilson was struck by Bieber’s pickup truck in Beverly Hills while trying to get a picture of the singer leaving a church service.

Police reportedly decided not to press charges, attributing the accident to Wilson standing in the street and Bieber being partially blinded by numerous camera flashes.

A video of the incident also showed Bieber immediately pulling over and staying with Wilson until paramedics arrived.

But Wilson claims Bieber was negligent in pulling out of the driveway, saying the accident left him with “permanent disability, emotional damages and general damages”.

According to his attorney, this disability is in the form of a torn meniscus and damage to his knee cap, which required surgery.

That being said, Wilson and his attorney insist the case is not personal, and that they’re only suing Bieber due to a breakdown in settlement talks with the star’s insurance company.

Check out the video of the incident below – we promise it’s not gruesome.
