Uber rolls out ‘Quiet Mode’ for those times when you don’t want to chat

A bit of peace and quiet
Uber has just introduced a new set of features for Uber Black customers to enjoy and we can’t wait to get our hands on them.
‘Quiet Mode’, probably the most exciting of the new features, allows riders to indicate if they’d prefer for their driver to be quiet during the trip.
Uber users can simply select this mode on their app for a little bit of silence without the awkward questions.
Perfect for those who cringe at the thought of small-talking with a stranger, this feature will also cater to those who work on the go.
Some other of the new features include ‘Help with Luggage’, ‘Temperature Control’ and ‘Extended Pickup Period’ that allows riders some extra time to get to the car when dealing with unexpected delays.
The updated Uber Black experience is now available on the app for US customers only. We’re hoping for an Australian release very soon.
