Role Description
SOUTH.ST is a progressive, rapidly growing Australian fashion label, founded in Melbourne by its current owner and sole designer. A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Assistant Retail Lead to join our team.

We are looking for a driven, people-focused Assistant Lead to help shape the future of our retail team and store. SOUTHST is looking for a motivated and driven Assistant Retail Lead who will complement the passion, diversity and experience of a World-Class brand and support the Retail Lead in overseeing the daily operation of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivating the team with strong leadership, mentoring, training and the provision of routine constructive feedback
- Ensure the delivery of a ‘World Class’ SOUTHST Customer Experience
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and order within the store
- Ensure store compliance with all relevant Health & Safety regulations
- Develop store strategies to attract new customers, increase foot traffic and optimise profitability
- Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards throughout the store to meet SOUTHST guidelines and expectations
- Keep management updated with all aspects of store operation through routine, comprehensive written and verbal communications
- Take responsibility for all personnel issues that arise within the store
- Be a consistently outstanding example of professionalism, sound behaviour and high performance; promoting ‘The SOUTHST Way’ in all aspects of your work
