Role Description
ONE OF OTHERS is an Australian RTW brand focused on effortless yet nuanced collections expressed through a contemporary lens to resonate within a wider, seasonless wardrobe.
Based in Melbourne (South Yarra studio), we are looking for a Marketing & Social Media Manager to join our team at an integral stage of growth. As ONE OF OTHERS scales in both local and international markets, the Marketing & Social Media Manager will work closely with the Founder & Creative Director to increase our brand presence by optimising the execution of our brand strategy across social media, digital, content and marketing.
This role would suit someone with experience in marketing and/or social media within a fashion business who is creative, detail oriented, organised and a clear communicator. The Marketing & Social Media Manager will improve efficiencies and grow our digital footprint across all brand touchpoints. You will collaborate cross-functionally across ecommerce, customer experience, operations and wholesale from a marketing perspective, helping to strengthen brand positioning, optimise performance and support overall business growth.
Joining a small, supportive team at an exciting stage of growth, you will play a key role in brand storytelling and communications across ONE OF OTHERS, contributing meaningfully to how the brand is expressed and evolves.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the planning, execution and optimisation of all brand content across social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Linkedin), driving brand awareness, audience growth and channel performance
- Manage an evolving marketing calendar, collaborating with stakeholders to plan product rollout, event amplification and brand activity
- Ideate, execute and optimise regular EDM campaigns through Klaviyo, while managing and enhancing automated flows to ensure relevance, optimisation and drive conversion
- Champion a consistent visual identity and on-brand communications across all digital touchpoints, maintaining a premium brand presence while continually refining content and messaging to strengthen brand awareness, engagement, relevance and commercial outcomes
- Develop content and campaign strategies that support customer journey, from brand discovery and consideration through to conversion, retention and advocacy
- Own and analyse overall digital marketing performance, ensuring delivery of brand objectives and targets by channel. Manage owned and earned media strategy and identifying opportunities to strengthen the integration of organic and paid activity to maximise overall campaign performance.
- Lead community engagement initiatives across all platforms, fostering meaningful audience interaction and strengthening brand connection
- Create and edit engaging low-fi content (stills and video) to support social media, campaign and brand storytelling objectives.
- Rollout of seasonal campaigns, ecommerce assets and content initiatives, ensuring seamless and timely execution across wholesale and DTC channels.
- Partner with PR to maximise content opportunities and amplify coverage across digital channels to strengthen overall brand presence.
ABOUT YOU
- 3+ years experience in marketing / digital / social media role within a fashion business with demonstrated ability to drive engagement, build brand awareness and improve digital performance
- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of social media, email marketing and paid digital ecosystems, and how they work together to drive brand and commercial outcomes.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise and deliver high-quality communications that maintain brand consistency
- Proactive, adaptable and driven, with the confidence to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A strategic yet creative lens with the ability to balance commercial performance while prioritising creativity and brand storytelling to create impactful marketing activity
