No two days are the same. One morning you might be troubleshooting a garment construction issue with a supplier, the next sourcing trims, reviewing fabric options, organising freight or approving production samples.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys figuring things out, takes ownership and is excited by the challenge of building beautiful products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production across seasonal collections from development through to delivery
- Communicate daily with local and offshore suppliers
- Troubleshoot production challenges and develop practical solutions
- Own the critical path and keep collections on schedule
- Source fabrics, trims and production solutions
- Review fabrics, trims, samples and production approvals
- Coordinate freight, logistics and inbound deliveries
- Monitor garment quality, construction and fit
- Manage costings and production documentation
- Work closely with design to bring creative ideas into production
- Continuously improve production systems and workflows
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in fashion production, product development or sourcing
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Confident communicating with suppliers and managing multiple priorities
- Naturally curious and solutions-focused
- Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership
- Passionate about beautiful product and quality craftsmanship
Why Variety Hour
- Genuine ownership of the production function from day one
- Work directly with the Founder and Brand Manager
- Real autonomy with the opportunity to shape the future of the business
- Build and lead your own production team as the business grows
- Work across unique, original collections in a highly creative environment
- Opportunity for international supplier and sourcing trips
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Hybrid working arrangements
- 5 weeks annual leave
- Full-time preferred, however we’re open to discussing a 4-day arrangement for the right candidate
