Kowtow’s new collection encourages consumers to reject single-use plastics

Words by Christina Karras

Because there’s no planet B.

Off the back of World Environment Day, Kowtow has launched a new collection dubbed Single Use Planet.

Pieces in the limited-edition range were all designed in protest against single-use plastics, and to help raise awareness around ocean pollution.

The line features a range of T-shirts printed with black and white photos of rubbish, while another simply reads ‘single-use planet’. It also includes colourful knitwear, in patterns displaying common plastics found on our beaches like bottles and cutlery.

And better yet, all garments are made with sustainability in mind, using only fair trade organic cotton or stock yarn to eliminate waste.

Proceeds from all purchases will be donated to ocean charities Sustainable Coastlines and Take 3 for the Sea.

You can shop the collection online now.
